Time to open the fisherman’s treasure chest: Since 1988, the Fries Film & Audio Archive has preserved Friesland's audiovisual heritage, with over 20,000 unique films, videos, and audio recordings spanning from the early modern era to the present day. As the oldest regional archive in the Netherlands, it invites you to a curated film selection. Following the screening, a discussion will explore topics such as audiovisual materials as cultural heritage and the current challenges on archiving.
