For decades now, there has been ongoing discussion about our view of housework, which often takes place invisibly within our own four walls. The films in this program reflect this ongoing debate. While “Invisible Hands” uses old film footage to explore the concept of caregiving, ‘Clotheslines’ features enlightening conversations on the subject of laundry, and “The Advantage of Lying On The Floor” celebrates the act of lying down.
