Children's Film Workshop FLIP BOOK: WHEN THE PICTURES LEARNED TO RUN Saturday 18 March, 14:00-15:00, Galerie Adlergasse in the Kultur Forum, Wachsbleichstraße 4a (Frontyard), 01067 Dresden
Lecturer: Jana Endruschat
If you like, the flip book is the predecessor of the film, because if you flip the little book under your thumb like this, it is like a short film scene.
In our children's workshop, we want to depict common moments cinematically in simple imagery: For example, we can make a maggot crawl over an apple, let snowflakes or colorful balls dance, or watch an ice cream melt in the sun - there are no limits to our imagination.
Use your thumb and paper to create and watch your own little movie. We will draw, stamp, cut, paint and try out a lot. From the idea to gluing the pages or designing the cover, we will end up with small pocket cinemas to take home.
