Children's Film Workshop HOW THE PICTURES LEARN TO RUN Saturday 9 July, 14:00-15:00, Loft Studio in the Kultur Forum, Wachsbleichstraße 4a (frontyard), 01067 Dresden
Lecturer: Laura Demel & Jana Endruschat
Screenings, effects and narratives similar to today's cinema have existed since at least the 18th century. What was missing for a "real" cinema experience until then, however, was the lifelike simulation of movement. From the middle of the 19th century onwards, there were numerous inventions, including the miracle drum. In our workshop, we will make such a miracle drum and try out how cine film technology works. After the workshop, each child
can take their little cinema home with them and bring new film ideas to life! Recommended age: 8 years and older
