John Porter (Canada) - the filmmaker is present
John Porter (Toronto) acts as filmmaker, artist, photographer and writer since
1968. With more than 300 films – most of them shot on Super8 – and 70 shows
world wide, in North America he is known as “King of Super8”.
He celebrates
the visual art; uses the camera as a brush, dances with her, likes crowded
space, dedicates himself to details of the surroundings and makes the ritual
behaviour of his protagonists visible. He shows only originals.
