Thomas Frick (GER) »10 Days in October« Friday 25.01. 19.30

Mid October 1989 Lothar Bisky, rector of the Academy for Film and Television Potsdam Babelsberg, under the impression of the revolutionary events, send his students to the streets with the mission to document the happenings. In this context came into being “10 Days in October”, a film directed by Thomas Frick. Interviews with beaten protestors, responsible police officers, witnesses and representatives of the civic movement – a unique multiply awarded history document around the hunger strike of a young Woman in the Berlin Gethsemane Church.
