N. Humbert and S. Fürbringer: Vagabonding Images Thursday 20th January 2011 21.00
For a period of five years Nicolas Humbert and Simone Fürbringer collected everyday life observations on Super8 and played afterwards like the surrealists Cadavres exquis. With their film they deeply plunge into the logics of hazard and dreams and evoke thereby – just at the same time – a long independent film tradition of great vagabounds and Cinedreamers from Maya Deren to Chris Marker.
Nicolas Humbert will be a guest and member of the Jury of the 12. dresdner schmalfilmtage
