Strange educational movies and forgotten family footage get a new soundtrack. A potpourri of visual wallflowers blossoms in the splendour and the colours of strange sounds. Gargling aquariums, budgies seesawing to techno beats, wild sitar swing in German front yards. Often, brave participants risk their reputation to astonish the audience. Schmalfilm relistened.
We look forward to seeing how the participants breathe new life into the moon landing, old industrial films or wacky vacation recordings with their electronic and acoustic instruments and obscure sound generators.
