Lat year, the animation film workshop had a record attendance. Now it is time to try something new. Children and youths from 4 to 12 years of age get the opportunity at this year's festival to add sound to animation films themselves. For 90 minutes, they will immerse themselves in the world of a sound engineer. They will sensitise their ear for various sounds, will learn to know how they are made and finally will take action with everyday objects and instruments.
Lead by sound engineers an musicians, they can apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills. The children will be confronted with the task to create the sound for a film in groups. The results will be presented afterwards to the audience in the children's film programme.
Vanda Kies, Michal Tomaszewski and Hannes Lingens will lead the workshop.
