Miloš Šejn's Super8 works from the 1970s represent an unusual form of landscape film. Based on a combination of land art and physical performance, they can be perceived as lyrical and spontaneous, but at the same time still and concentrated. He uses the camera as an extension of the gaze and the body and also as a tool to capture physical contact with nature, often in combination with extreme physical experiences. His films bear witness to his own
experience as well as to the role of humans in the surrounding ecosystem.
