WORKSHOP: SUPER8-MASH-UPS mit MANUEL FRANCESCON

Our workshop will be dedicated to a popular technique of satire: Mash-up is the magic word! Existent film scenes are arranged differently and provided with an own text, either as a commentary voice or by new synchronisation of the actors. In the internet, this kind of comic effect has become very popular in the recent years.

Our Super8 workshop will teach the participants to cut the films in a different way and then to change their meaning by altering the sound. The funny results will be presented at the second day of the workshop in front of an amazed audience.
The participants will be supported by the workshop coach Manuel Francescon, a professional speaker for TV, advertisement and documentaries. He has won numerous Super8 awards, also in Dresden. And: He worked as an author for TV comedies for 15 years. We think: The perfect man for this workshop!
