FILM WORKSHOP: Photograms & Contact Printing
FIn this workshop the participants will learn how to contact print various materials on 16 mm film. After a short introduction they will create their own experiments with the aid of a flashlight and colour print film. The participants will copy super 8, 16 mm or 35 mm footage on16 mm print film or will create photograms with other materials. After the film is developed there will be the option to finally colour or tinge the film. No previous knowledge is necessary to participate in the workshop.
Workshop leaders: Anja Dornieden & Juan D. González Monroy, Berlin
The filmmakers work together under the name OJOBOCA on film projects, performances and installations that have been presented and awarded at international festivals since 2010. The same year they became members of LaborBerlin. Furthermore Dornieden and Monroy lead several workshops, recently in Jakarta and Cairo. In January 2014, they won the Jury Award of the International Competition Super8/16 at the 15th dresdner schmalfilmtage.
