-> Screening at Thalia Cinema, Görlitzer Str. 6 <-

One night the workers in a factory notice that their management is stealing machines from their works.
In order to save their works, the employees occupied the factory. Even without any raw materials and any orders, they stayed by their machines. The Portuguese director  Pedro Pinho received the  FIPRESCI-Award from the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes. Five screenwriters bring their voices and numerous genres in unison in this masterpiece which combines documentary interview scenes  and even musical elements.
The creators behind the young portuguese production company of Terratreme utilise all of the freedoms at their disposal and have produced – as they like it – a full 177 minutes on 16 mm.
